I looked at many higher priced tables before I finally found this one. I was looking for a table to place in my dining room for use as a small side table/buffet. The fact that it expands makes it very nice for use as a "kid table" for gatherings as well. As other reviews have stated, it is slightly darker than it appears in the pics, which I was hoping for - matches my existing furniture very well. It was quite easy to put together and took only about 15 minutes. The table itself is a nice quality and easy to expand. It is, however, a little unsturdy. Overall, I am extremely satisfied with my purchase.

I use this as a sofa table behind my sofa in my Great Room. I thought it would be great as an additional dining table at the holidays or when we have lots of guests. Unfortunately, this table is pretty flimsy and I'm not sure if I would want my guests to eat at this table.
The finish is fine. A little difficult to put together.
For the price it's a good buy.

We have a small house without a formal dining room. This is now in front of my picture window in the living room, flanked by two ladder back chairs. Perfect for the two of us for dining or as a beautiful console table any time.

The mission table is used as a decorative item and is the perfect size for the small room it is used in. The quality of the table is excellent and assembly was easy. The only disappointment is that the finish is a little darker than the picture on the web page and the box.

The table is pretty durable considering the price. It's very convenient when I need more space. I have a small dining room and it fits perfect. The color of the wood is darker than I thought...it appears lighter in the pictures.

We had company for New Year's Day dinner and the table was a HIT! We have a small home and feeding more than 4 people is awkward until now. Thank you so much for having just the right table for us! I had looked for some time and couldn't find one, or if I did, couldn't afford it.

I have a very small house, the table is exactly what I needed for a dining/reading/conversation multipurpose room off the kitchen. It's pretty and I've used it twice. Both times I was complimented on it. Highly recommended.

I was really amazed with this table! It is sturdy and gorgeous and so wonderfully functional. I love it!

mission table
By Diane from Camas, WA on 3/25/2007

This is a great little table. Easy to put together and easy to flip back and forth. I probably would not pay the regular price for it but with the sale price it is a good deal.
I wanted a table we could use for games and puzzles and also something for flowers and candles and this works great!

Mission Sofa Table
By Barbara J. MIller from Ravenna, Ohio on 2/3/2007

It is a wonderful table. My only diappointment is that there are a couple areas on the table that either the stain did not take properly or it was rubbed off. It fits perfectly behind the sofa and looks great.

Mission Style Convertible Table is awesome!
By R. Cameron from Torrington, WY on 12/11/2006

I LOVE this table. It folds out to about the size of a card table when company comes, yet is the perfect size for an unobtrusive console table in my conservatory. It is well built, sturdy, and perfectly finished. Everyone who sees it wants one. It is a unique item that I am very proud to own. I can find no fault with it, except the stickers identifying each piece were a bit too sticky and could be easier to remove.

Table Finish
By Teddy L. from Berkeley, CA on 12/8/2006

The picture of the item online and on the carton it came in looked very much like it would match my other mission style furniture. However, although the style did not disappoint, when I received the table I was truly disappointed in the finish. It was much lighter than pictured and requires re-staining. You should take care to have the photo match the actual piece. This makes me not trust that what I see is what I will get so I would hesitate to order again based on the pictured item.
