I'm using is to store my books and as a coffee table. A leg broke alread and it just doesn't stay together well. Very poorly made and manufactured. Very sad that I spent[$] on this table!

I was so excited my boyfreidn and I to get this table up once he opened it for Christmas to our surprise the screws were missing for all of the hinges and handles and knobs. Luckily my father being a very handyman figured out a way to make it work using screws that he had in his workbench that were similar but not the size needed becuase they aren't sold at hardware stores which I had found out when I went out the day ofter Christmas looking for them like crazy at [...] before I asked my father if he could help. But once it was up with the screws my father had given us it looked great and came in handy for exaclty what we needed it for. [...]

This was a great find. We have a small apartment so we needed extra storage and a coffee table; this piece accomplishes both and with style! Although it is not solid wood it is very attractive, sturdy and functional. If you are looking for extra storage at a reasonable price this is your piece. Putting it together was a bit of a challenge though as some of the holes needed to be re-drilled. But that was very minor.

It was a little difficult to put together as it required 2 people. The directions were a joke. "Put A on B tight with J" Still trying to figure out what that means! It does what we need it to do, but it scratches very easily.

Overall it's a good piece but the pre-drilled holes for the front latch were drilled wrong. I had to make new ones so I could properly attach the latch.

I love everything about this trunk. The hindges were a difficult to place. Predrilled holes for allignment and marking of hindges for left and right would be nice.

This trunk was easy to put together. The lid has a "no slam" feature. It quietly closes with the hinges letting it close slowly. The quality is excellent. The only problem with it is the strong smell of lacquer or glue. I've had to let it air out for about a month before putting blankets in it.
